Terry, the dictionary comes with a PCMCIA card; yes, you can use it in either place, the back or the side. I am not sure where the information is coming from about just the classic; it works in both units.

Brian;
I have an M-power and it has a slot on the right side so why
would I not
be able to use a cf card with an adapter in this slot. You said
it can
only be done in a classic. I have never used an adapter, but if
the
slot is there, it sounds kind of strange.
Hope its an error or is this slot used for something else I do
not know
about?
