Are you using Grade one German? If you are, do the following: 1. While you are in the document, press SPACE with S (CTRL plus S on QT). 2. At the drive name, select the drive that you want to transfer to (for example, PC card, SD card, etc). At the folder name, select the folder where you want to save the file (preferably none folder, as this saves the document to the root directory). 3. At the file name prompt, press BACKSPACE with X (CTRL plus X on QT) to cycle through various file formats until you see ASCII text file. Then press ENTER. BrailleNote will say, "Open the dew document after saving?" If you want to open the new file, press y. If you want to work on current file, press n. Note: ASCII text has txt extension. You should open it using Notepad.
