Hi there,
No, it does not do it automatically. There is a setting under Date and Time where you can check whether daylight savings time is on or off. If it is on, press y. If not, press n.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] time to daylight
savings problem

 Hello List:
BN units, I believe, understand the USA
Daylight Savings Time
adjustments and they happen automatically.
This year there is a
change in that timing. Has there been an
adjustment in the
software to compensate for this change? If
not it may not make
changes when they ought to be made and make
changes when they
ought not to be made.
Here is an email our company IT folks sent
out today:
This year Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the
United States and
Canada will start three weeks earlier (2:00
A.M. on the second
Sunday in March) and will end one week later
(2:00 A.M. on the
first Sunday in November) than last year.
To make this transition as seamless as
possibleeaeveryone using
calendarstscheduling applications should give
extra attention to
meetings and appointments scheduled between
March 11, 2007 to
April 1, 2007 and October 28, 2007 to
November 4, 2007.
If you are responsible for a computer
related system at
Halifax, please contact your vendor to
discuss the DST change and
what the potential impact could be.
