Real Player is another media player, but many stream links use
its specific format to play media. Windows Media Player has a its
own format (.wma) just as Real Player does (.rm). The BN cannot
currently play these .rm files, and it would be nice if it could.
As far as mp3 and other common formats go, the BN supports them
all and both Real Player and WMP can as well. It is like word
processors having specific formats (MS Word is .doc and Word
Perfect is .wp) but MSW can open .wp and Word Perfect can open
doc. Sorry for rambling on about this; I hope it is not too
confusing.
Have a great day,
Alex

Hi all. I have heard about Realplayer, but thought it was just
another
kind of MP# player like Windows Media Player. Am I write, or
does it do
something different?
Cheers!
Michele

If Real Player support was incorporated into either Keyweb or the
media
player, that would be a nice addition. Also, I don't know if any
of you
are
familiar with .ogg Vorbis, a royalty-free file type similar to
mp3 but
with
arguably superior sound quality and smaller size, but I wouldn't
mind
seeing
support for that as well.

Hi y'all.
Does anyone know if the next verssion of keysoft is likely to
have
real
player or macromedia flash player installed? I was thinking if
it had
either of these or both, it would make a lot more websites
accessible
with
the braillenote.
Thanks, louise.
