Yesterday I tried to set up the Braillenote as a Braille display.
I use Windoweyes 6.0.
I chose the Braillenote Braille display, connected the Braillenote Via
USB and tried to set the option for using the Braille display with a
screenreader but for some reason I couldn't select the USB port or even
read what was going on on the PC on the Braille display.
My questions are, does the software that comes with the Braillenote need
to be installed on the PC before I can use it as a Braille display on
the PC, can the Braillenote only be used as a Braille display on the PC
through serial connection and do I need to restart Windows XP before the
Braillenote is recognised as a Braille display in Windoweyes?
