Robert,
Tell her to try removing and reinsert her card. Sometimes that fixes problems. Another thing to remember is that BrailleNote (and some cards) are subject to interference.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] assistance with bn qt
keyboard

Hello All,
I wrote to the list last night, but never saw
my e-mail and there
has been no response, so I thought I would
write again.
I have a friend who has a bn with the qt
keyboard.
She is on a cruise on vacation, and is having
some difficulty
with her bn.
What happened, is she copied some books to
take with her, and she
actually read one of them before leaving, so
she knows they were
there.
She also copied Hawaii maps and the user poi
on to a cf card.
Yesterday, she was at a particular area of
the ship, in Maui and
she actually created some pois.
So, she knows the card was working fine.
Later, she went to read
a book, and the folder is there, but there
are no books in the
folder. What is even more weird, is that the
map folder is no
longer there. She did not do anything to the
card, other then
when she was done with the book, she exited
out to the main menu,
as well as when she was done with the gps
program, she exited to
the main menu and turned off the unit.
Does anyone know why this might be heppening.
I had her try a reset with jkl but that did
not do anything.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
Thanks a lot.

Robert Stigile
