To all concerned,
I have just crafted an email to HW about the inability to pair the BN
with the Motorola Q by Verizon Wireless. Code Factory has come out
with yet another build to their MobileSpeak Smartphone, but I have not
heard anything about the changes that are definitely necessary for our
Bn's to work with this.
Take care,
Sharonda, using BNBT mPower

the m-power not working with the motorola q.

Hi Terrence,
The reason why you're getting that error is that the SmartPhone needs
an incoming
port created before you pair it with the
BrailleNote, so until one of the following two things happens, I'm
afraid you won't
be able to use the BrailleNote with the
Moto Q:
A. You find a way to create an incoming COM port through the Motorola
Q's own Bluetooth
manager app.
Or:
B. The BrailleNote allows a Bluetooth device to connect with it where
the "master"
device is the SmartPhone while the "slave"
device is the BrailleNote. Right now, the BrailleNote insists on
being the host device
in the partnership, unlike other
supported Braille devices, hence the need to create an incoming port
on the SmartPhone
first. KeySoft developers at HumanWare
are already aware of this need and they will make the required changes soon.
Regards,
Roselle

So, I gues we're shot down again, oh well.

Terry
