Hello,
I am in preschool as far as wireless connections goes. And I need
some help. But I don't want to take up list space asking a bunch of
questions withdialog. So here's what I need.
1. On our university campus, we have wireless service that is open
to students staff and anyone on campus with access. I can put in my
wireless card and it will scan for networks and find tigernet. I'm
told by the campus computer folksthat I need to use the password
pluginacable before it will let me on the network. I'm not sure
where this goes, or in what form. If I type it in as WEP, it tells
me it's in the wrong form.
2. This afternoon I wasin a public place with wireless access that
anyone could use. It found the connection. When I typed in a web
page, I was told that the server could not be found. Can someone help me?
