I don't believe this will work. The PAC Mate Braille display was designed
to be detachable, so you could use the product with or without a display.
In addition, you could attach a PAC Mate Braille display to a computer via
USB. My understanding is that with a BrailleNote, the display is integrated
into the unit, so it seems unlikely that you could use a competitor's
product on it.

Just curious. Does the Voicenote support the PACmate
braille displays? I'm looking at this from an economic
point of view and found a VoiceNote with a PACmate 20
cell display (just the display) is $1,000 cheaper than
a BrailleNote mPower BT18, and $400 cheaper than a
PACmate BX420. Any comments on this? (I'm just trying
to save as much green as i can if the time comes that
i need to make a purchase).
