Hi Terry,
Yes, there was a confirmation message a few weeks ago from Andy that says like this: You can indeed use two-piece as well as one-piece charger on your BrailleNote mPower. Both contains same electrical design. According to Andy's explanations, it seems that the only noticeable advanage of using two-piece charger is when you need to use your BrailleNote in another country that has diffforent electrical voltage (this two-piece charger is rated for 100/240 volts).
Cheers,
Joseph

piece chargers

HW Staff;
Andrew or someone else from HW, please write
the group and conferm
whether whether or not it is safe or not to
use a one piece charger on
an M-power. When I got my transplant, I got
a one piece charger. Some
people got 2 piece chargers. I have heard it
was safe to use either one
unless you were going to go outside of the US
and needed a different
frequency.
From the message below, has Malaina been led
astray?
Thanks for any help.

Terry Powers

chargers

Hi listers, It seems that the consenses
concerning the chargers
is not the same. I won't use the one pice
charger anymore cause
that is what I was told, but I wonder if it
would really harm the
battery. I hope everyone is well.

Malaina
Technology is great once you get it to work
the way you want it
to.
