To understand this, you'll need to learn how
PK came to be:
BrailleNote PK is actually HumanWare's
rebranding of Baum's Pronoto. It had
InfraRed capabilities. Mike Gibson once told
me these "lights" might have served as
InfraRed indicators/ports.
