Hi Kevin, Adding to what Joseph said, here is a message from Dean Jackson regarding the PK battery. And, yes, my battery does behave the same as yours, but I still think the PK battery lasts longer than the one with my mPower, and my PK is over two years old now and has gone practically every where with me. I usually think about charging mine when it gets between ten and twenty percent, just to be sure, and that is when I start to get the battery low messages. Instead, the battery level and battery status messages are derived from the current voltage reading. Therefore, you will not have the same degree of accuracy as on the BrailleNote but as I say, no calibration is needed.
