Cross posted to the two relevant lists: concerns file transfer initiated by
K1000 to the BrailleNote.
All help appreciated.
I am working with a client, who has the BrailleNote MPower, loaded with
Keysoft v7.2, and the pc has Kurzweil v11.0.
Cannot get K1000 to send to the BrailleNote via the Usb. The BrailleNote
has a conection established through Activesync. Activesybnc is v3.8, as
supplied by Humanware.
The error message from K1000 is "cannot open device" but it has saved all
relevant settings, a file is ready to send. The BrailleNote is correctly
identified by Windows through "My Computer"
The computer is a Toshiba Satellite running Windows XP Professional. Cannot
remember the model number. It has two Usb ports - the Epson 10/100 scanner
is connected to one, the BrailleNote to the other.
