Michele,

Thanks so very much for the long distance thump on the head! It is one of those "duh" moments. I changed the style of presentation to lines, and at least for the little bit of list I still had in the machine, the BN and printer worked better together.

It's not the printer that was causing the problem, never has been. It was me, and to some extent the BN. I'm not going to say I have the thing licked, but I think I'm closer.

I printed a recipe from my cooking list serve, and that printed well.

I thank you again for your great suggestion, and I will continue practicing and honing this printing process.

Thanks to all who have expressed their concern. I'll probably be back with another question in time!

Kathy

Subject: [Braillenote] Cathy's Dilemma

Hi Cathy and others. I may be right off course here but perhaps you
might want to try changing the format to either outline or lines. I
don't know if it would work, considering that the other commands you
have put in are not being acknowledge by the printer, but it's worth a
try.

The only other thing I can suggest is get someone to check your printer
settings in the actual printer itself. I remember when I used to have
embosser trouble, I was told that I should either allow my embosser or
my Braille Companion to determine the setting out of documents.

Hope this helps.

Michele
