Rusty:

It's probably hardware. Think about the characters and see if a particular dot that should come up doesn't. Or, see if a dot doesn't go down when it should. I'd only think of software once I was sure it wasn't an issue with your Braille display and based on your discription I'll bet that's what it is, a Braille display problem. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rusty Perez" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: [Braillenote] problems with cells 1 and 2 on my display

Hi folks,
This weekend I had my MPower looked at CSUN when I got it back, there
was some strangeness with my display.
It's hard to say exactly what's going on, but it seems as though the
operating system is having trouble displaying the correct braille
characters in the first two cells on my display.
I have spoken to tech support.
They had me erase several files on the flash disk.
They also asked me to do a service reset and a 456 reset. These didn't
fix it either. I thought I had fixed it with several regular resets.
But after an hour or two it went back to the problems with the first
two cells.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Rusty
