Diane, if it is just your address list dot cdb that you are
backing up, just copy it. From Main Menu, press F then C. At
your "source file name" prompt, make sure you are in the Flash
Drive, and go to Keylist. Press Enter. At the "list of files"
prompt, press Read with X. Press Enter. You will be asked what
drive, folder, and file you want to copy it to. Make that
selection, and press Enter. Is the address list dot Cdb the only
thing you want to copy? If you are transferring to a new unit,
I'd back up everything, rather than copy. From the Main Menu,
press U, then B. At the "back up or restore", press B. Make
sure you are in the Flash Drive. You may want to back up your
Keylist and Keymail folders. You may even want to back up your
favorites. At any rate, when you have made that selection, press
Enter. Select your drive, folder and file. The offered file
will be today's date. This can be selected, or you can pick
another one. Are you planning to use both machines?

Good evening,
Although I have read the relevant sections of the mPower QT
MANUAL several times, I don't understand how to unprotect my
address list and back it up on another drive. I'm doing this in
preparation for receiving a second VN mPower which is a special
gift from my parents, and it is scheduled to arrive sometime this
week. All instructions concerning this operation will be greatly
appreciated. As always, mega thanks for your help in advance!
