wait a moment all,
Before we start demanding for features again lets wait for keysoft 8. We don't know what will be in that release yet. Be happy for what you have. Would you rather use a perkins brailler all the time?

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] back to features discussion

Thank you Sharon. There are features which are necessary for
this product
and the Word capability is one of them. As Scot said, HTML
capability is
another one for E-mail. I get some E-mail that way and it just
gets deleted
because I can't read it on my VN. There are other ways to get
radio other
than the BN family directly and Sharon is certainly correct in
that point.
If you want radio, take one with you or use the Internet.

With regard to the TTY feature, this is something that the
competition
offers and also something which members of the deaf-blind
community have
been screaming for for years now. This discussion is at least
3-4 years old
with no real response to date.

Also, in the United States many people get their units through
State Rehab
either for school or employment and these units need to be used
for that
purpose. Now, if you buy it on your own, then how you use it is
your
business.

Some of us are offering opinions about features, not complaining.
There is
a differnce.

Thank you and take care.
