Of course, I'm not HumanWare staff, grin. And, too, I can't speak about the presentation of this past Friday. However, if you're trying to get an idea about using the BN as a Braille display with Mobile Speak Pocket PC phones, the Accessible World Tek Talk had a session with Larry Lewis a few weeks back. Actually, as I haven't listened to the presentation in a while, I can't remember if he demonstrated just a PDA or a PDA phone; however, one is able to use the BN with either a PDA or a PDA that has phone capabilities. And, too, one may use the BN with either a Pocket PC phone running Mobile Speak Pocket, or with a Smart Phone running Mobile Speak SmartPhone. And, Cingular has phones that support either type. Here is the page where one will find both a listen and a download link, and this is a long link that may need to be copied and pasted:

Just want to know if Larry Lewis' presentation given Friday, April 13, 2007 about Mobile Speak Pocket is archived anywhere. Was having computer problems and missed it but would like to hear how this Mobile Speak Pocket works with the Braille Note family of products as my cell phone contract is up in another 2 weeks. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Mary Ellen Earls ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
