Hi all,

I use Spanish 8-dot computer Braille for all my BN work. I realized that when I type a square root sign (1-2-4-6-7-8) and close the file, then reopen it, the sign has turned into a v. I have no idea what is going on. Is there some technical reason for this? This is the only symbol that gets replaced by something else.

Speaking of Unicode, when I try to change the display or key assignment of a Unicode character I get the message "file is protected". I have unprotected the Unicode file in \flash disk\dictionaries but the message persists. It almost seems like KS is trying to change \keysoft system disk\windows\Unicode Tables, which is bad since the KS system disk is rewritten each time one does a reset. Does anyone else have this problem, and how did you solve it?

Thanks, and have a great day,
Alex
