Dear Sharon and list:

SSL stands for: Secure Socket Layer and is a secure transmission
mode used by a growing number of e-mail servers.

Sympatico.ca requires it now, so I cannot pick up my mail off of
the mail server using Key Mail, but I can read it online using
Key Web.

Hopefully the software folks in Christchurch are aware of the
growing need for SSL on the BrailleNote family and are working on
it.
