Hello Everyone, I agree that this is very annoying. There's two
things that I do when I've been typing a rather long email or
have just taken a long time to get it written. The first thing
is to copy it to the clip board. If all else fails you can just
paste it into a new email. The other thing is after finishing an
email that I think might give me a problem sending, I will go
into the outbox and open the email. I will space through all of
the fields until I'm in the body of the message and then exit.
For some reason this seams to fix it. Sometimes I will send a
blind-copy to myself just to make sure that it sends. I hope
this helps.
Sincerely,
John

Subject: [Braillenote] really annoying thing in keymail
Hi,
Okay, my BN is getting ready to experience the wonder of
unpowered flight, and I almost mean it! I am writing emails to
someone with a gmail account, and both emails have done that
special little KS7.2x trick: you write them (spending much more
time than usual since it is Spanish), you exit, you save a copy,
you send, the BN happily informs you "0 email sent" after no
hesitation (does it even try?) You think, "no problem, I can just
send the backup I made since I knew this would happen." You open
the folder in which you stored the backup... NO BACKUP!!! What
is
with this? Why does it not only not send my email but not even
save a copy??? This is getting rediculous. I have done a reset,
but this has happened in the past and it is like the error saving
altered files in keyword; you never know when it will happen and
there is nothing you can do once it has happened. Any
suggestions?
Have a great day,
Alex
P.S. Sorry for going on, but it is one of the most annoying bugs
in KS. I know that this email will send fine, yet my Spanish one
is gone forever. Sure the "ghost email" will be cleared, but I
want the corporeal form of the email, not its spirit.
