When you do an incremental backup, you are prompted "[path/file.ext] already exists. Replace?" Press "a" for all and the BN will replace any backed up files with any new copies, as well as leaving all other files intact and backing up any files created since the last backup. (This is my understanding).

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] RE: incremental backup

Hi everyone,

Something that has always puzzled me (perhaps I've not read my
manual
thoroughly at this point) is about whether when you choose an
"incremental backup" and save the files to the previous "backup
folder"
they'll overwrite the previous backup?

I want to avoid having multiple backup folders and files to
look-up.

Or is it best to simply erase the entire original/previous backup
folder you created and start again with a fresh one, each time?

Surely the answer has to be "no" otherwise why the "incremental"
option.

Regards;
Stefan Slucki.
