Here are a few suggestions and Bugs that need fixing:
Media Player: add a "Jump To Time" feature (Ideal Hotkey either
Space with J
or Space with dots 1-2-6 (1-2-6 used in Word Processor)).
Media Player: Add support for ID3 tags. Let Space with I
(information) menu
display tags, maybe Space with T (for tag) to add/modify/remove
tags?
Media Player: when in an M3U playlist show playlist entry number
in
information menu (may already be present, haven't looked that
closely).
Media Player: ability to input a URL for streaming directly
rather than
using M3U playlists or the web. Maybe Space with S (for Stream)
yields a
prompt such as "URL to Stream?" (in the format
server:port/mount). Could
maybe add to this by adding a similar concept to favorites in the
web
browser.
Media Player: hotkeys for Increase/Decrease Speed and Pitch act
as they do
in the DAISY reader but have no noticeable effect on media file
playback.
Translator: Return of the Braille Exceptions Table. This was
very useful
when writing UK Braille Mathematics code and then printing it
out.
Translator: updates to British Braille need implementing. See

Connectivity: ability to set Bluetooth name outside of current
specification
without modifying devname.sys manually. NOTE that Bluetooth name
does not
adhere to the same specifications as computer name and they
should be
configurable via separate options.
Connectivity: ability to operate the Remote Synthesizer and
Braille Terminal
modes via the USB, and possibly Infra-Red, port.
File Manager: support for zip file extraction.
File Manager: ability to press H for "Hard Disk" at a "Drive?"
prompt.
Database Manager: ability to create a new database temporarily
according to
a CSV File I.E. create a CSV File Viewer, treating the first
line as the
headers.
Word Processor/Database Manager/New App: support for other
Microsoft Office
formats (most notably Excel and PowerPoint, possibly Access) and
improved
support for Word.
Memo Recorder: ability to record in MP3, then ability to set
specs (sampling
frequency, bit rate, quality (0=highest)).
Speech: ability to control Keynote Gold and Eloquence settings
separately.
Generic: Software Developers' Kit - this has been a very long
time in coming
and I'd like to develop a few custom applications for personal
use.
