hi, I think if there isn't going to be any more upgrades they will tell us with plenty of notice. Like they have done with the classics, they let us know that keysoft 8 will be the last upgrade for the classics and have given us plenty of opportunity to transplant to a Mpower. So I don't think it is likely that they will stop providing upgrades for the Mpowers anytime soon.

Hi,

I received several responses to my message along the line of,
"keysoft
8 will be released when it's ready, you wouldn't want them to
hurry
and put it out if it was buggy" etc. etc. My concern isn't that
it be
released in a hurry, in fact since I'm happy with all of the
functionality as it is, it wouldn't concern me if it took a year
or
more to offer an upgrade. It's merely that there comes a time
when
products are no longer updated, and I was just wondering what
happens
if you purchase a SMA and an upgrade never becomes available.
For the
most part people don't seem to think that this will happen with
the
braillenote yet which is good.

A feature I'm hoping for is the ability to play digital talking
books
if and when NLS goes digital.

Pam
