Subject: [Braillenote] OT: Question about the New Victor Reader
Stream fromHumanware
Hi Everyone,
I apologize for the off topic post. Has anyone checked out the
new Victor Reader Stream from Humanware? When I read about it in
the NFB Braille Monitor, it said that it plays audible.com books.
However, when I go to the humanware website, it does not
specifically say that it plays audible.com books. I looked in
the user guide under technical specifications and the following
are the types of files it plays. Are any of the following
audible.com file types:
.. DAISY formats: DAISY 2, 2.02 , DAISY NISO Z39.86 2002,/2005
.. Audio Codecs: MP3, MPEG2, Wav PCM, Wav ADPCM, AMR-WB+, OGG
Vorbis.
If you want to check out the new Victor Reader Stream go to:
http://www.humanware.com/en-usa/products/digital_talking_books/po
rtable_cd_and_flash_player/_details/id_81/victorreader_stream.htm
l
Thanks.
Milissa
