A few days ago, someone pointed out that another recent list
joiner had not introduced themselves.
Well, I haven't either, so several emails late, I'll tell you a
little.
I live and work in the UK.
I have used Braille for about forty years, and a BrailleNote for
about five--starting with version 3.something and now
transplanted to v7.2.
I have worked just under twenty years supporting software,
(mostly using a Braille display made by the company I am with,
plus a bit of Jaws for the PC), although the last nearly three of
those years I have been off unwell.
I have no hound, but I find a sharp cane clears the way quite
well, (only jesting--I'm not that rough really).
I am a Christian (born anew, by the grace of God and the mercy of
Jesus).
Finally, may I say, it's a pleasure meeting you all.
