Hi,

Just tryed this--give it a go--it's a bit unusual.

From main menu:- f(ile manager) d(irectory) then get to your desired folder.
Space down to the file you want.
Then <backspace>+r as if you were about to change the files name.
Look for the first character of the filename after "new name for" and press the touch cursor above it. The BN will beep like an error and fill the new name space with the current name of the file. (I think that happens on any character but I always use the first).
Anyway, <backspace>+k and the BN says "copyed to clipboard".
Then <space>+e to exit the name change.
You can then enter your document and <space>+b then p to paste the clipboard. It seems to copy the name of file in with stuff on the beginning and end.

Regards,
Steve.

Is there a way I can copy a long file name from the list of files
in a
folder and then paste that name into a document, without having
to remember
that long file name and manually type it in?
