It is. A while ago some informal HW communications with this list
said 8.0 would be, but all HW ever officially said was that the
version after 7.2 would end the upgrade line for the classics.
Have a great day,
Alex

Hi Joseph;
They also quoted that the last upgrade for a classic would be
8.0.
Coould they be trying to squeeze some extra in for the clasics?
If not,
why did they not number it 8.0 like they said they were going to?
Just
something to think about. Was not clear at convention and I did
not
think to ask since I do not have a classic.

Hi Rhonda and list,
There was a post a few months ago that said KeySoft 7.2 is the
second to last upgrade for Classic. It also said that the
version after 7.2 would mark the final upgrade for Classic. So I
can understand that, although 8.0 did not accomplish this, 7.5 is
going to be the last one for "old Classic" units.
Cheers,
Joseph

I am very curious about the following message. I teach many
classic users, and from what I had always understood, 8.0 would
be the last upgrade for them. According to the below message,
7.5 is the last upgrade. What happens to those who have
purchased the SMA for 8.0? Is 7.5 now considered the SMA people
have purchased? I didn't think so, but according to the below
message, 7.5 will be the last for the classic.
Thanks for your comments in advance.
