Dear Terry,
It also says in the user guide that if you are in the
wordprocessor when you leave the file it is automatically saved.

Bobby

Hi bob;
I checked the command list and the save command is space with s.
Also
in items like the address book, if you make a change and use
space with
e, it will ask if you want to save the changes and you need to
put in y
for yes or n for no.
Hope this helps.

Dear All,
I would like to say that space with for sign should work. When
you exit the program it should save the file. I don't know why
you are losing files.
From,
Bobby

I always use space with so. Hmm never heard of space e doing
anything but
exiting out of the program.
I am not saying you're wrong I had just never heard of that one.
Think I'll
try it.

Hi G;
You need to use space with e on a bt to save the changes before
going to
the main menu.
Hope this helps. You did not say you put this step in.
Terry Powers
If this is not the problem, check your steps on saving to a
different
location.

Subject: [Braillenote] Losing Files on the BrailleNote mPower
When I open a file in Keyword and make even a small change in the
text, and then leave the file with the space plus dots
1-2-3-4-5-6 chord to go to the main menu, there is a long pause,
and when the main menu is identified, all the text in the changed
file has disappeared never to be recovered. This has happened
several times recently, and I am asking if anyone else has
experienced this, and if there is a procedure to ensure it does
not happen. Some of the lost material has been hard to replace.
I am running BT 32 mPower, Keysoft 7.2 build 47. I will be
grateful for any suggestions to prevent the loss of files in the
future. I know about backing up files, and I'm remiss about it,
but the real problem is that the loss of material happens just
after I have added something and exit directly to the main menu.
