Hi Sammie and List:
Sammie, like you, I don't feel that anyone should have to have
a computer to access any item supposedly updated for the
BrailleNote. If so, what brought about the invention of
notetakers? What brought about the updates that require buying
SMA's if the only way to use these updates is by way of the
computer? If this should be the case, what would be the sense of
spending the money to upgrade?
I believe we need a definitive answer direct from Humanware.
We have been told on the list that Victor Reader is on the
BrailleNote, and it shows it, but, if it's there, why would we
even need a second piece of equipment? I would have thought we
would have been able to use Victor Reader directly by downloading
from the BrailleNote.
Sammie, thank you very much for your posts!!
Have a wonderful day.
