Hi Ann and list,
Perhaps can HW develop a driver so that VR Stream can be used on the USB port of the BN?
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Question concerning Victor Reader and
BrailleNoteuseability

Hi all,

Be careful, Sharon. The BN, no matter how much you want it to
be, is
not a laptop.

Now, there are people who only have BrailleNotes, and for them,
there
should be some kind of connector or something so that they can
use a
Victor player to transfer stuff to their BrailleNote for playing.
what would be optimal is if the port on the side of the Vibe
could be
used. This Vibe is on the low end of the Victor player spectrum,
and
is now being offered to people who are members of RFB&D or who
become
members for the cost of postage, total $6.50. this seems to be
an
excellent choice here, and would be totally super if the port on
the
side of the device could be hooked up to the BN. Or, as an
alternative, purchasing a Vibe for the current rate, under their
promotion would seem to be an excellent solution to this mess.
You'd
have two devices, but at least you'd be able to play the books.

Again, this may take some talking and some work, but I think it
is
doable.

Ann P.
