Thanks, I cannot get any extra hardware. Maybe I can WIFI or ActiveSync with a PC connected to the dial-up? I will give it a shot tomorrow and hope it works.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: re: [Braillenote] notification and a question

Hi Alex,

About the Internal modem.
When I upgraded to v7.2 build 47 I could only get "connected",
long pause, "disconnected".
I was told that there was a know problem I think only with some
of the BNs.
Anyway, I had to send it in to be soldered.
I no how it feels, so if you need a solder to cry on.
(Sorry that made me smile and I couldn't resist).
Seriously though, I believe it's a hardware fix needed.
Other than that, take a look in the manual 13.6.3.2 Using an
external modem.
If you can get hold of a CF card modem, or Hayes compabible
serial port modem, that might be a workaround.

Regards,
Steve.
