Jindows Mobile is powered by Windows CE. The next version of WM
called "Crossbow" is scheduled to be released by end of this
year.
For more info about CE 6.0, do a Google search about it. It
should give you plenty of information.

conceivably release a version of their software being powered by

6.0 anytime, while such Pocket PC devices running Windows Mobile
6.0 would

1. Windows CE 5.0 (specicifally CE 5.2) powers Windows Mobile
6.0.
2. In regards to hardwine, both platforms (mPower and PK) have
features that would be useful under CE 6.0. And I don't know
when HumanWare will decide to upgrade to CE 6.0.
3. CE 6.0 is actually here - it was released on November 2006.
