I received this problem the other day, and it was only with the
reply to the Braillenote list.
It put a letter p at the end of the dot com of the e-mail
address.
I have forwarded it to Maurice, and he has acknowledged that he
has seen it.

Just to let you know, a couple of HW people have picked a case I
mentioned.
You said you got p and lt characters at the end of your
addresses.
I've never had those--they sound like very ordinary characters,
I've had characters with values like 30304.
I have also only seen them at the end of the second reply
address, and it's always been the BrailleNote list address.
I presume you've seen them elsewhere.

The following issue has been confirmed by many people on the
list:
Unwanted characters are added at the end of an email address when
replying
This issue has been discovered few months ago. An unwanted
character (possibly a Control character) is inserted at the end
of the email address when using Reply function (I don't know
whether it occurs with Forward function). Lately, on my system,
unwanted characters appear, specifically p and lt at the end of
an email address. This is anoying when sending an email in a
hurry, and the next time a user checks email, a "Returned Mail"
email appears, indicating the address which had error. The only
remedy is to erase the email address from "Copy To," "Send to,"
and "Also Send to" field and retyping it.
