Hi Everyone; I can tell you why I took the chalange and got the stream. First of all, any item I put on cf card, I should be able to read on my m-power or for portability read on my stream. If my M-power is in the shop, I can still read what I have on storage cards. When the adapter is made, I will be able to read books from NLS, if I have problems with my NLS player or do not get one for a while because of funding. I also got a small discount for buying in July and had a 1 out of 10 chance of getting it free, because of the drawings they were holding at convention. I like its portability. I hope its sound quality will be good enough for me. In a crouded place, that is a hard thing to determine. Terry Powers

I heard an Interview with the product manager for Victor Readers and you will need a pc. You download your book onto your pc plug your victor reader stream in and move the book over onto the memory card or the s. d. card. As far as unpacking the book, I don't know if that is accomplished on the computer or not. But yes, you will need apc to do this.
