Hello,
I do not know about the unit resetting, but as far as your unit telling you that you are out of memory, this is an issue that has been discussed on the list before. It is a problem with the Windows ce 4.2 and if and when Hw upgrades the ce to 6 it will solve that problem.
Hth,

Robert Stigile

Subject: [Braillenote] Memory problems

I would like to know if anyone can tell me what is going on with
my BN. I do use the internet, word processor, and e-mail a lot
as
well as the database and media player. OK, I use my machine a
lot. (grin) I don't store much on the BN though except for
e-mails and memos I record. I keep just about all media and word
processing files along with all books on separate cards such as
CF or SD cards. I have been having more problems recently with
my
BN telling me that it is out of memory or not enough memory. I
usually have to do a simple reset and then things are fine. A
few times within the past couple months, I have noticed that my
machine has reset itself. I think this has happened 2 times. If
I remember correctly, I had the machine turned off and when I
turned it on, it just reset for no reason.

Basically, these have been minor inconveniences and I have let
them slide. Now, I am wondering if this is a sign of a larger
problem since I am getting the memory errors more lately. Should
I go ahead and send the unit in before it goes out of warranty?
Does anyone have any advice?

Thank you in advance for any input you may have.

Sincerely,
Nikki B
