Hi Susan,
You can buy 512 MB SD cards from anywhere that sells digital
cameras like Best Buy, WalMart, etc. Or you can purchase online.
In terms of size limitations: This is rather Windows CE's fault.
The SD driver can support up to 512 MB while in bootloader. A
HumanWare employee said that SD cards above 1 GB use slightly
non-standard ways to report its capacity - thus, it cannot be
used in bootloader and upgrades.
Cheers,

Where can I purchase a 512 card? I just don't understand why
Humanware
has caused this problem. If the update only takes up some of the
SD card
I don't see why they can't make that work.

Hi Susan,
Unfortunately, you cannot, unless HumanWare changes Update
Menu/Bootloader to implement drivers so that 1 GB or larger SD
cards can be used.
Cheers,
Joseph

I never did update my Empower because I am having trouble finding
a 512
MB SD card. In the next update 7.5 can I use a larger SD card?
