Hi,
If you have got most if not all the messages you are really
interested in, you could try "refreshing" the Email folders
database.
I have not done this, and would therefore be mostly guessing,
but, you could start with taking a copy of the "Email folders"
files, both the definition and .cdb.
Then things you could try.
Point the KeyList application at the Email folders database, and
try to look for those rogue messages, (probably through their
subject), and delete them.
If that doesn't work an alternative.
Delete the Email folder files from KeyMail--because you have that
safe copy--and see if re-entering KeyMail or normal reset to the
system will recreate them as empty.
You might then be able to repopulate that database from the copy
using a template and KeyList.
The reason just deleting the .cdb file probably didn't work might
be because definition files seem to contain a reference to
something like the number of records in the associated database.
Have you had to mend your email before?
If any of the above totally breaks the KeyMail you should be able
to copy back the saved files.
Regards,
Steve.
P.s.. If it were my machine I would try those things, but it's
not, so that's easy for me to say.
