Try a 1-2-3 reset, that is, a reset with the 1-2-3 dots (s-d-f) on a QT model held down. If no go, try a 4-5-6 (J-K-L) reset If no go, try an engineer's reset, Record and reset buttons pressed together. Note that this reset is only available on the Mpower. If still no go, call Humanware tech support for ideas. Not sure if they have an office in Australia or you have to call Christchurch. Hopefully one of the above resets will clear the problem. An Engineer's Reset causes a momentary disconnection of the battery then a 4-5-6 reset. It sometimes can clear problems you thought nothing could fix. Good luck. Brian Brian K.
