Hi Joseph and All, Just for my own clarification, as I don't want to try this on either my PK or mPower right now. But, does this procedure just put the settings, such as speech and maybe connection configurations and the like, back to factory defaults? Or, as well as any settings it puts back to defaults, does it also erase any user created files/folders off the flash disk, too? Vicky Collins [EMAIL PROTECTED]

You'll need to delete this file and everything will return to factory defaults. 1. At the Main Menu, press RESET with dots 1-2-3 (FDS). Hold dots 1-2-3 (FDS) udtil you hear that music. On the PM, this is c3-c4 with dots 1-2-3. 2. Then go to File Manager/Directory. 3. At the Drive prompt, go to Flash Disk. At the folder prompt, go to Dictionaries. 4. At the "List of Files" prompt, press SPACE with x (READ plus x on QT) until you see "List of all, including hidden files in (folder)" where (folder) is Dictionaries. 5. Locate keysoft.ksd then press BACKSPACE with dots 2-3-5-6 (CTRL plus 8 on QT). Press y for yes at the prompt (Erase (file)?" where (file) is the definition file. If it says something about file protection, press y again to confirm that you want to delete this (unlikely). Then press RESET (c3-c4 on PK)right there. After few moments, it should give you prompts such as navigation key/thumb key layout, prefered braille language and grade, etc. If you have mPower, you'll notice that KeyNote Gold will pop up to provide speech.
