Hi Chris; I had both my BN and M-power delivered to my office. I knew more about the device and did not want my husband to open it or anyone to take it from my door step. I told friends in my office when it was coming, so they could sign for me if I was away from my desk. In your box, you will find a Braille check list of items that should be in the box. Find this list and identify each item before you do anything. Make sure nothing is missing. I think your next step is to charge the unit. There is a one volume handbook with chapter one and a command list. The full manual, as you most likely know, is stored on your unit. Happy reading. Be sure to read all of chapter one before going on. I was lucky, I had a teacher for a while, but my time ran out and we had card reader problems. I never got good with NLS or dealing with card storage. Always more to learn. One big thing I love about the BN family is there is almost always more than one way to do something. You can use menus or just the letter to perform a task. We also have keyboard commands to read, navigate and more. Enjoy your new machine! Terry Powers

Hi all, it appears that Humanware will be bringing it round tomorrow. However, I'm concerned that my local courier will drop it off instead, and therefore I may miss it unless I get sighted help. For those who had their Braillenotes delivered, what has been your experiences? Did Humanware themselves deliver it? Did they help you unpack it? Did they help you set it up for your needs? Sorry for the many questions, but my other half rraised this issue and, although I'm excited, I'm also concerned that I'll miss the delivery. Thanks! ----- Original Message ----- From: "linnette" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Chris Hallsworth" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, August 20, 2007 8:14 PM Subject: re: [Braillenote] Good news! >I know how happy you are, bbecause I got my knew braillenote three weeks >ago and I am more than pleased. > >> ----- Original Message ----- >>From: "Chris Hallsworth" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >>To: "BrailleNote List" > <[email protected]>,<[EMAIL PROTECTED] > m >>Date sent: Mon, 20 Aug 2007 13:04:53 +0100 >>Subject: [Braillenote] Good news! > >>Hi all, >>Well I have some very good news to tell you.
