The opposite of that is:
1. size: not everyone wants a big case; maybe they just want the BN in a small, slim case. 2. Useability: cases like that are very hard to make able to use the BN while on the shoulder, let alone hold the BN stable.

I agree with you, though, that more pockets and a harder inner pocket for the BN itself would be very handy in MANY situations, and I too have a DVD player case for such situations. The only problem is that the DVD player case cannot hold the BN still, so I cannot use that case if I want my BN to be useable while walking.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: re: [Braillenote] The Case of the mPower

Hi, is there any way to improve the case for the Bn? I mean, why
can't it look like a regular case for a laptop just smaller with
plenty of pockets for everything? I had to improvise with a
portable ten inch dvd case from Circuit City. I know Hw has a
pouch to perches, but that's just one pouch.
Just trying to make a suggestion.

Eva

Subject: [Braillenote] The Case of the mPower

Hi List:

The case of the BrailleNote mPower seems to have changed.
Several months ago I had a mPower that died when I fell into a
river (along, sad story). With some help the unit was
replaced. The new mPower has a slightly different case. The
design is the same, but it is stiffer and the velcro is less
sticky; the cover would open times no matter how carefully I
closed it.

Recently IVe switched cases and I'm happier - tighter fastening,
softer feeling.

Was there a change or did I just have the bad luck to get a less
than excellent case?
