Hi Mike:

You won't be using that compact flash card again for that upgrade. If you erase the files, you will not hurt your machine, nor will you hurt your card. I would guess that card is a 64 M.

It seems like the volt has to be a 3.5, or something like that. Hope this helps a little bit.

Subject: [Braillenote] questions regarding compact flash cards

Good morning everyone,
I'm using the compact flash card that the keysoft 6.1 software
upgrade came
on, as a memory card. There are three folders on the card
entitled cedbconv,
install, and instructions. I was just wondering, if I erase
these folders from
the card, will it do any damage to either the card itself or
keysoft? One more
thing: Some time ago, someone on the list, mentioned something
about buying
compact flash cards from memorysuppliers.com. According to the
information I
found on memorysuppliers.com, all their compact flash cards are
100% guaranteed
compatible with all devices that accept
Compact Flash
Memory.. For any of you, who have ever purchased memory cards
from these
guys, do their memory cards really work as well as the company
says they do? and
when purchasing compactflash memory cards for my bn, asides from
the memory
copasity, is there any special information about the memory card
that I should
be aware of? I'm using a braillenote bt 18, classic. Thanks for
responding in
advance. Have a good one.
Mike
Rochester, NY.
