How do I switch Braille translations using Keysoft 7.2 build 47? Thanks!

Hi, Chris,
The quickest way to answer the question would be to create a test
document, and use the unicode table to write the bullet. If the braille
display shows dollar sign ch bullet, then you will need to assign the code
to the computer table. I know that the BN doesn't show the right sign in
US braille, s I had to assign the symbol in the computer braille table.
If you have a QT keyboard, I can give you instructions on how to sear for
a unicode character and assign it to a cb symbol. //////someone else will
have the BT commands.

If you are an English (British) braille user, please read

In 2004 BAUK (the Braille Authority of the U.K.) introduced
an official Bullet sign. Dots 4,5,6 followed by dots 2,5,6.
The full list of changes can be obtained at
http://www.bauk.org.uk/pubs.htm. Therefore, if you are using a DBT
English (British) Braille
Template containing the new rules, a Bullet point will be
correctly imported from Word without any need to make
changes in Word or DBT.

Your bullets will be automatically dropped when you import
into Duxbury. So, you don't have to worry about them. If you
want a character to represent them in your file, just type
it in and ignore the presence of the bullets in the Word
document. If you want to have a clean Word file anyway, and if the
document has actual bullet symbols, copy the bullet into the
clipboard, paste it into the find field in search and
replace, and type in your new character in the replace edit
box. If the Word file has used a style such as Bulleted List,
then simply change the style to List. Add in any characters
you want at the beginning of each item.

I do like the list style because it is the easiest,
however, sometimes I am asked to keep the bullets in the
text. Steve's idea of changing in the dxp file will work but

If you use Word's BANA template, you can also use
the style already created for CBC.
If you are following BANA rules, you won't retain
bullets in braille. Use a list style for any item that
normally has a bullet.

I need to translate bullets
to (--) in Word. This may be a Word issue but I do not have
a clue. I looked in search and replace and the MORE BUTTON
but could not find anything specific to bullets.
