Hi Chris,
Because Visual Display interferes with
Braille Terminal. You'll have to turn Visual
Display off before you can use Braille
Terminal. Speaking of this, you'll have to
restart JAWS while BrailleNote is in Braille
Terminal in order for it to truly work.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Interesting finding
when attempting to use BrailleTerminal
Hi all,
I have looked further into my problem of not
being able to use Braille
Terminal via bluetooth on my laptop. I ran
Hyperterminal, and I could
successfully connect to the com port. When I
launch Braille terminal, I
still get a blank display at the mPower's
end, however when I press keys on
my mPower BT 32 garbage appears on the screen
of my laptop. However, when I
enable visual display via Bluetooth, which is
a cool feature I have to say,
the information is displayed correctly on my
laptop. Now can anyone help in
why this would be the case? I'm slightly
worried that my mPower BT 32's at
fault here. Thanks in advance for the help.
P.S. I'm using a Belkin
bluetooth adaptor which uses Windows XP SP2
drivers as its bluetooth
software.
