Hi Chris;
A lot of people call their m-powers their PDA for the blind. I usually
just say it is a note taker with speech and a Braille display. If they
ask any more, I will say it is like a PDA or like your paulm pilet. The
few that have seen my m-power and my KNFB reader are intreaged with
them. People even love to see my Braille display and Jaws on my
computer. Show others your equipment and let the sighted know how we
function in the world.
Just because we are blind, we are still equal.

Subject: [Braillenote] Interesting question

Hi all,
Ever since I got my mPower, sighted people have been very curious as to
what
it is. However, I find it a problem to describe it to them without them
understanding. Anyone got any tips please? I can't blame them for being
curious; it's just a fantastic piece of machinery, so no wonder. Thanks!
