Oh, that would be cool, having Braille Terminal/Remote Synthesizer via USB, however how are the screen reader vendors going to implement that? Maybe HumanWare could provide drivers or something? Just curious, but from what I can see unless I can get bluetooth to work, USB's the way to go. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joseph Lee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi there,
We did mention this on the Braillenote chat (which Maurice attended). USB
connection to Braille Terminal and merging functionalities of Braille
terminal and remote synth, plus QWERTY command structure support for QT
models were proposed. The only "official" word from HW (according to
Maurice) is that since ActiveSync uses USB, then HW will be able to
implement introduction of USB connection support via ActiveSync.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi there,
I don't know. Does your computer have serial port? Probably UAC will come
up
asking if you want JAWS to connect to external devices. I have to ask
Freedom Scientific (specifically Eric Damery about this).
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi there,
Yes, I have, and the solution is to start Braille Terminal then restart
JAWS.
Cheers,
Joseph

Is anyone else getting the "Could not load Braille driver" message when
trying to use the bn as a Braille display with JAWS?
