Thanks for responding.
Now, I want to take notes on my BN along with recording the lecture. If I use an external mike, can I avoid the typing sound in the recording?
When I tried with my internal mike, it was pathetic.
Thanks and regards
Tara

Hello Tara, yes you can do it. I've recorded streaming audio at the highest quality for about an hour and a half and it took a little less then 350mb. So, in theory a three hour class would take somewhere under 1GB. The lower you have the quality settings the less space it will take up. If I were you I would try to record it in tracks. Maybe every 10 to 20min stop recording and start a new session. I've noticed that sometimes when I have recorded continuous that after about 30 to 40min or so it will start cutting out.
Good luck.

Sincerely,
John

Subject: [Braillenote] question about recording

Hi all. I was just wondering if someone had tried it.
I want to record 3 hour long classes using my MPower. Do you
think 2 GB card
will be enough for recording a 3 hour long lecture?
Regards
Tara
