OK, Terri, let's examine this a little for logic's sake. What
advantage would there be for Humanware to promote the UEB over any
other type of translation? Now, when you answer this one, please
remember that Humanware and its financial backers are looking at the
BrailleNote as product, not as anything else. How much will it net
them? Who will benefit from their product? Who will pay in order to
benefit from this product? Now, what financial reason could Humanware
have for forcing Americans, who know little or nothing about the UEB,
to use it under coersion? What financial gain would there be?
What good will gain would there be if hundreds of dissatisfied
BrailleNote users who hadn't been informed were told, willy-nilly,
that they had to conform to UEB, or their BrailleNotes wouldn't work.
You have to think about this logically, not emotionally. I've got
material here on the UEB, but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I
don't imagine that by the time I upgrade to 7.5, I'll have to worry
about it. Terri, Terri, you gots to be logical, you can't be
emotional, not for something like this. Doesn't anybody learn logic
any more? Where are all the Jesuits when you need 'em?
