Alex, you'll have to go to the Options Menu, press B, and space
down to the preferred code. Press S. After that, you can go
back in from Main Menu, and change what you need to.

How do I get my BN back into computer braille? My defaults are
all computer braille, but I am stuck in this UEB and cannot seem
to get out!! HELP!
